Have you heard the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) E-clearance?
NBI clearance is very important in applying for work/job, passport, license and etc. It should be renewed every year that will serve that you don’t have any criminal records.
In applying NBI clerance in Robinson Malls, NBI UN avenue Office and others, it takes hours to get your clearance. You need to go the venue as early 3 am to get the slot for that day. And after that, there are many procedures to be followed.
Good news that there’s actually way to avoid these procedures by applying online.
How to apply NBI Clearance?
Follow these steps below:
To use the NBI e-Clearance facility, first make a payment through your GCash account. There will be additional P20 is charged on every transaction. Ex. for local employment, you have to pay P115 + the additional P20 charge.
Text “Amount MPIN” and send to 28829175638053. Ex. 115 1234 and send t to 28829175638053
If you don’t have an GCASH account and an MPIN, you can register using your Globe cellphone by texting REG to 2882. The applicant will receive a confirmation text message with the Reference Number after the successful transaction. You can also pay through Globe Payment Centers to get your Reference Number.
Step 2. Fill out the application form at www.nbi-online.com. Provide the Payment Reference Number and mobile number (for GCASH transactions). For over the counter payments, indicate the date and time of transaction. After a successful application online, a QR Code will be provided and must be printed as proof of application.
After the successful online application, book for an appointment to use the e-Clearance Lane. Text “BOOK Reference Number Location MMDDYY HHMM Name” and send to 09175638054.

Step 3. After booking for an appointment, go toe-Clearance lane of the MAIN NBI CLEARANCE CENTER (U.N. Avenue) on the confirmed booking date. Bring printed QR Code and 1 valid government-issued ID supporting the details entered in the online application form. Government-issued IDs can be Voter’s ID, Postal ID, PRC, SSS, GSIS, Passport, Driver’s License, and Original NSO Birth Certificate.
The QR Code will be scanned and your Biometric Information will be captured. Your new NBI Clearance and the receipt will then be printed.
