SM Hypermaket recently launched the 2012 SM Master Chefs in its Cubao Branch on August 16, 2012.
SM Master Chefs 2012 highlights the tradition of cooking demo, carinderia makeovers, master recipe contest and cooking events in different regions throughout the country.
The event was joined by bloggers, shopper and friends from the media to witness cooking demo with some of the country’s most creative chefs together using products from food brands.
Chef Paulo Sia of Linden Suites, Sofitel, Discovery Suites and Intercon demonstrated his American Mexican Toss and Wrap using beef sukiyaki cut, seasoned with Knorr Liquid seasoning and Knorr rostip while Chef Arnold Bernardo of Montemar Beach Club, Bagac Bataan prepared his Bounty Fresh Chickn Rice Noodle stir Fry.
Chef Tess Sutilo of Nestle delighted foodies with her creamy munggo guisado, while chef RJ Garcia of San Miguel Foods Culinary whipped up CDO Red Ciabatta Sandwich. Chef Menoy Gimenez of Center for Culinary Arts Manila prepared a delicious dish using CDO products.
The event also launched the SM Hypermarkets’s Carinderia Makeover wherein entrepreneurs who run a carideria, catering or small restaurant business can own a brand new kitchen and dining area furnished by SM Hypermarket.
SM Master Chefs 2012 was sponsored by the country’s master brands like Uniliver Food Solutions Knorr Sinigang sa Sampaloc, CDO Ulam Burger, Bounty Fresh Chicken and Nestle All Purpose Cream, San Miguel Fresh Milk
