Two years ago, I’ve been to Singapore for pleasure and leisure trip. The experience was really great. I can’t really forget the city, the parks, the buildings, the shopping malls and of course the Singaporean dishes.
You know what guys! You don’t need to go in Singapore just to experience its sumptuous cuisines. I found a restaurant that offers delicious Singaporean dishes in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig- the Singapore Food Republic.
I was invited by one of the certified food bloggers to dine-in Singapore Food Republic. Upon entering in the resto, we were welcomed by an enticing ambiance. You would really feel you’re in Singapore. It has magnificent Singaporean style ambience which is very appealing to eye. The tables and chairs are look elegant. Photos posted on the wall were all awesome. It’s very artistic. And you know what… some of the photos here were photographed by the owner.
Mr HK, the name of the owner of the resto, joined with us for an entertaining and educating food session. This man is really cool. I don’t know why… but the first time I met him, I don’t feel any shyness. He’s very accommodating. You can get a lot of tips in business, travel and of course in food. He’s a certified foodies.
The first Singaporean dish that was served to us was the Kueh Pa Ti. I really love this dish. It‘s what of kind. The taste of the lettuce, boiled shrimp, the sauce and its secret ingredients compliments to each other. I’m sure you can eat more than 10 pcs. of it. This is really highly recommended to order when you dine in Singapore Food Republic.
After the Kueh Pa Ti, they served the Thai green Mango Salad. I’m not a vegetarian but I really love vegies. For all healthy conscious out there, this meal is the best for you. It is not too sour, not too spicy and not too sweet, everything is on the right taste.
When you are in a Singaporean restaurant, you must order the very famous Hainanese Chicken. Singapore food Republic’s Hainanese Chicken comes with the signature 3 sauces. Before we eat this delicious food, Mr. H. K. taught us the proper way of eating the Hainanese Chicken. First combined the black sauce with the rice, next top the ginger sauce on the chicken and on top of that, put the spicy sauce on it. On that way, you would really appreciate the real taste of the Hainanese Chicken. Try for yourself and see the difference.
We were also tried the crispy baby squid, green-leafy Kang Kong Sambal Blachan and soft-tender Beef rendang. What can I say, all these dishes are mouth-watering.
Lastly they served the dishes with curry- Malaysian Chicken Curry, Thai Chicken Curry and the Fish Head Curry also known as the King of Curries.
Mr HK told us that each dish has its own distinctive taste. He also informed us that the curry for chicken and beef are different and also with the fish and pork. Ah.. that’s very interesting. The curry powder in the Philippines is different that they are using in Singapore Food Republic. The spices are also imported. They also created their own sauces for all the dishes.
Don’t also forget to order some refreshing juices and Coffee Connoisseur
Overall, the whole afternoon of eating was absolutely fantasatic. All the foods served were all delicious. I’ can’t wait to go back here and bring some of my friends. Singapore Food Republic is highly recommended. It really offers hearty and savor Singaporean cuisine. The ambiance is good, the employees are very accommodation and of course, the food are very delicious.
