Partnership offers Unity developers in the Philippines a centralized place to learn Unity’s technology
ArthaLand Corporation, an award winning, best-in-class, boutique Filipino real estate developer, recently announced a partnership with Unity Technologies, creator of the world’s most widely-used real-time 3D development platform, to establish the country’s first CREATOR Center of Excellence, a physical space where developers will benefit from advanced training in Unity and a shared ecosystem for learning.
The launching event was held at the ArthaLand Century Pacific Tower Business Center in BGC, which joined by members of press and executives from ArthaLand Corporation and Unity Technologies including Mel Songco, General Manager of CREATOR Center of Excellence, Jaime Enrique Gonzalez, ArthaLand Corporation Board Member, Leo Po, Executive Vice President and Treasurer, ArthaLand Corporation, Hubert Larenaudie, President APAC & Global Head of Unity Distribution Platform, Ramesh Anumukonda, Head of Unity Education and COE Initiatives APAC, Gerard Cerutti, Business Development for Philippines of Unity Distribution Platform.

The CREATOR Center of Excellence will professionalize the training of designers, artists, programmers, and project managers to foster a first-rate developer ecosystem needed to produce rich content in an easier, faster and more scalable fashion. It aims to elevate the quality and skills of both local and regional talent through a six-month Unity Professional Developer Program, which consists of Unity’s foundation-building courseware and dynamic learning modules for specialization in 2D, 3D, Virtual Reality (VR), and Augmented Reality (AR) production. Participants will become proficient in advanced techniques and best practices and will be validated against international standards.

The CREATOR Center of Excellence will operate out of the newly-launched ArthaLand Century Pacific Tower, which is strategically located the heart of the new central business district in Bonifacio Global City (BGC).
Unity is the world’s most widely-used real-time 3D development platform. Games and experiences made with Unity have reached more than 3 billion devices worldwide this year and were installed more than 24 billion times in the last 12 months.
After the press briefing, guests were able to experience gadgets and games made of Unity. There’s also a short seminar that showcase on how this new training center will help to develop the skills of of Filipinos in the field of two-dimension (2D), three-dimension (3D), virtual reality (VR) and augmented-reality (AR) technology.
