Department of Tourism and Tourism Promotions Board recently launched the newest campaign “Visit the Philippines Again (VPA) 2016” at the opening of 14th Philippine Travel Exchange (PHITEX) held in Marriott Hotel Grand Ballroom in Pasay City.
The event was hosted by singer-host Champagne Morales, which graced by tour operators, travel agencies, hotels travel experts and business leaders who were know more about DOT and TPB’s latest campaign. Participants of the event also shared the latest studies and trends, sales and marketing strategies in the travel and tourism industry.
The highlight of the event were the performances of Aple. de. ap (Allan Pineda Lindo), Jessica Reynoso and Radha Tinsay. They entertained the esteemed guest with their beautiful and powerful voice. Some of the songs they sang were from the album “Elephunk” of Black Eyed Peas, which Aple. de. ap was one of the members of this group.
During the performance of Aple. de. ap., a video was projected upon the screen showing best-of-the-best tourist destinations in the county.
VPA2016 is a retail based campaign to drive urgency and excitement among foreign travelers to visit Philippines and return for more fun, friendship, fell good adventures, and fabulous memories to cherish 2016.
The newest campaign is the continuation of Visit the Philippines Year (VPY) 2015, which attracted a total of 2.3 million international visitors from January to May 2015 alone and has a total of earnings generated from tourism activities to P93.907 billion for the first five months of 2015.
