Last Saturday, my blogger friends and I tried different classes in I-Dance Studio. We took first the Yeba. It’s a new workout based on Philippine folk dance steps or traditional ethnic dances. I really enjoyed this lesson because it’s just reminiscing my past when I was in grade school. I started as a folk dancer in our school, joining dance competitions in other schools. Dancing is really my passion ever since.
Thank you to Ms. Bing for introducing this kind of dance. This is highly recommended for people of every age and gender.
After Yeba, Mac of Manoeuvers headed our hip-hop dance lesson. He taught us some cool and exciting dance moves with the tune of Treasure by Bruno Mars. I really love hip-hop, pop and rnb songs. Everytime I hear fast and up-beat songs, I can’t resist to dance. Mac is really a good dance instructor. He makes sure we’re following and getting the steps.
Next lesson was the Zumba, a dance fitness program that incorporates hip-hop, samba, salsa, merengue, mambo, martial arts, belly dance and others. This exercise include music with fast and slow rhythms. I must say this was the easiest dance lesson we tried that day. The steps were very light yet super fun. I sweated a lot on this session. Mr. Toots Ensomo is one of the instructors for this class.
Finally, to cool down ourselves, we took the I-Yoga. It was instructed by Ms. Ayi. Yoga is used to alleviate health problems, reduce stress and for exercise program and physical therapy routine. The I-Yoga is latest exercise program that activates the body’s natural design. It combines the energy-cultivation breath work with yoga asanas and affirmation relaxation techniques, one rapidly experiences healing and balancing. This class was very relaxing.
We really enjoyed all the lessons we’ve attended. Thanks to all our instructors.
