In the recent event held at the Victoria Sports Tower in Quezon City, Go Vote Movement, a non-partisan, non governmental organizational of volunteers, recently announced their advocacy to encourage more registered Filipino voters to vote on May 13, 2019.
Headed by Department of Justice (DOJ) Undersecretary Erickson H. Balmes, the advocacy-based gathering was joined by key stakeholders, members of the press, online community, officers from Manuel Luis Quezon University, and friends from Go Vote Movement. Mr. Jerry Acuzar, the Chairperson of the Manuel Luis Quezon University also grace the event.
Atty. Balmes shared to guests that his organization helps to promote and encourage Filipino voters to participate in the upcoming-mid-term election. He highlighted the role of Filipinos in the election. He also emphasized that our vote is our ‘Karapatan’.

The mission of Go Vote Movement is to educate and dissemintae information ragrading rules on election, advocate a well-informed and educated Filipino voter thereby contributing to a free, honest, transparent and accesible election.
Aside from encouraging Filipinio voters to vote in the 2019 election, they also offer FREE voter’s education seminar. They have also hotline(s) during the election where Filipino voters can ask questions anything about the 2019 election.
