The Manila Symphony Orchestra will play Tchaikovsky’s music live for one last time on Friday, Dec. 9 at 8 PM, with Katherine Trofeo as Princess Aurora and Jean Marc Cordero as Prince Desire.

Dance luminary Edna Vida Froilan’s reaction to the first weekend performance was nothing less than effusive on social media: “Congrats Ballet Philippines—I loved ‘The Sleeping Beauty!’ Your beautiful dancing kept me wide-awake and amazed! Carissa Adea (whom I saw as Aurora, partnered by Japanese dancer, Nobuo Fujino) was breathtaking! The fairies rocked! Guys, you still have this weekend to catch the full-length ballet at the CCP Main Theater. Don’t miss it!”
