Sm Cinema, in partnership with The Walt Disney Company (Philippines) launched Cars 3 last July 19 at SM City North EDSA.
The launching event was joined by the member of the press and online community together with executives from SM Lifestyle Entertainment Inc. and Walt Disney Company (Philippines). Former racing champ, and three-timer Karter of the Year awardee, Matteo Guidicelli also graced the event who unveiled the life-size replica of Lightning McQueen.
After the launching event, all guests joined the special advance screening of the movie.
All movie goers and shoppers who joined the event enjoyed the exciting activities and exclusive Car 3 toys and collectibles by Manttel.
The life size replica of Lightning McQueen will race its way to the different malls in Metro Manila: SM City North EDSA (July 19 to 26), S Maison (July 28 to August 8), SM Southmall (August 10 to 20), and SM City Fairview (August 22 to September 3).
Cars 3 is a 3D computer-animated comedy film produced by Pixar Animation Studios for Walt Disney Pictures. It is the third installment in the Cars film franchise, and the sequel to Cars 2 (2011). Directed by Brian Fee, produced by Kevin Reher and co produced by Andrea Warren.
In the film, Lightning McQueen is still the same self-assured, determined and fun-loving race car audiences fell in love with, his confidence is being tested by the new cars on the track. He will prove to a new generation that he is still the best race car in the world.
Cars 3 stars Owen Wilson (the voice of Lightning McQueen), Bonnie Hunt, Larry the Cable Guy, Tony Shalhoub, Guido Quaroni, John Ratzenberger, Cheech Marin, Michael Wallis, Paul Dooley, Jenifer Lewis and Katherine Helmond, reprising their voice roles from the first two films, along with Cristela Alonzo, Chris Cooper, Armie Hammer, Nathan Fillion, Kerry Washington and Lea DeLaria, who voice new characters.
Cars 3 opens in all SM Cinemas July 26.
