Smart Araneta Coliseum will host the highly- anticipated basketball event of the year, ‘PBA All-Star Weekend,’ which is set to happen this August. This event will feature some of the best names in the field including PBA Superstars, players from the PBA D-League, Batang PBA, and the PBA Women’s Tournament.

The announcement was held during the contract signing between PBA and Uniprom, Inc. was held on July 5 at Novotel Manila Araneta Center.  PBA Commissioner Chito Narvasa and OIC-COO of Uniprom, Inc. Ms Irene Jose inked the agreement, which heralds an exhilarating weekend of festivities for families who will be watching at the Big Dome – the home of PBA.

This year, the PBA has elevated its game by showcasing not just its PBA superstars, but also its players from the PBA D-League, Batang PBA, and the PBA Women’s Tournament. Aside from a basketball clinic for kids, the traditional friendly match between PBA Giants and PBA Stalwarts is sure to amuse the crowd. There will also be exhibitions and special performances by PBA players and coaches culminating in the anticipated All-Star Game, a showdown of the league’s star players using various game formats. PBA stars are also expected to participate in a glitzy motorcade around the Araneta Center to meet their fans.

Overall, the All-Star Weekend presents a platform for players to show off their skills in ways that the regular season would not ordinarily allow. This year, the PBA promises to bring its game to greater heights with this year’s All-Star Weekend at the iconic Smart-Araneta Coliseum.
