Young actors Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla (Kathaniel) are the lead stars in the movie adaptation of young adult romantic novel” She’s Dating The Gangster.”
The new movie is based on the bestselling book of the same title written by Bianca Bernardino. The story is centered to two teenagers, Athena Dizon and Kenji de los Reyes, whose “pretend relationship” turned into serious relationship.
The book debuted as online reads via Wattpad and became one of the bestseller books in Powerbooks, National Bookstore and other local bookstores in 2013. It has sold over 50,000 copies.
Meanwhile, the cast of the film include Liza Soberano, Enrique Gil, Sharlene San Pedro or Miles Ocampo, Nash Aguas or Marco Gumabao, CJ Novato, Julia Montes, Sam Concepcion, and Megan Young. There’s no confirmation regarding the official cast of the romantic-action movie yet.

Directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina and produced by Star Cinema, She’s Dating The Gangster showing across the Philippines will be on July 16, 2014.
