FWD Life recently launched a health and wellness movement aptly called “Live To Move” and held a fitness event last Saturday, October 10 in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.
The “Live to Move” event was joined by hundreds of fitness enthusiasts from novice, to intermediate to advance. It’s headed by celebrity fitness coaches Jim and Toni Saret (“The Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition Season 2, ” Fit Filipino Movement”).
During the event, participants experienced and enjoyed different workout stations for metabolic fitness, boxing and cardio, Zumba, and Hip-hop. Each station has a four-minute routine that has health benefits equivalent to up to-hour an of exercise. These activities made them really dance, groove, and sweat a lot.
The FWD Motion is a simple regimen developed by coaches Jim and Toni Saret. Its four primary steps can be integrated into daily activities and can be has done anywhere, reducing the need to go to the gym or attend a workout class. It is scientifically proven to make an individual lose as much as 600 calories, depending on the intensity of execution and the number of repetitions.
Coaches Jim and Toni Saret shared a simple guide to remind people of the essentials of good health where each of us should take the following: five servings of fruits and vegetables, two hours maximum recreational screen time, one-hour moderate activity, zero sugared drinks, and zero smoking/secondhand smoke.
After the exercises, Coach Toni Saret and his brother, Chef Antonio Dimaguila Jr., prepared healthy drinks made up of almond and milk. The shake was really delicious and refreshing!
The event will continue on October 24, 2015 with the Live To Move Grand Festival where participants will enjoy exciting activities and rewards in surrounding booths for free medical consultation, cooking sessions, group workouts, and a free-for-all wellness concerts.
The ‘Live To Move’ tour will feature group activities called Move to the Beat (Hip Hop), Move to the Groove (Zumba), Move to Fight (boxing and cardio) and move to the FWD Motion (Metafit).
FWD Life is also inviting everyone to take the online video challenge wherein you post your workout videos featuring your passions and your variations to the four primary steps. You can upload your FWD Motion videos until October 23.
