LINE, the world’s leading mobile platform recently launched a new LINE Premium  Call promotion exclusive for the Philippine users during the “LINE More, Be Closer!” event held in Makati Shangri-La.


The launching event was led by Kapamilya leading actress Jessy Mendiola and actor-host Matteo Guidicelli. It was hosted by VJ Joyce Spring.

The two brand ambassadors shared to the members of the press they are using LINE app every time they call their family and friends abroad.

Greg Kim, head of LINE Philippines formally introduced Line Premium Call, a globally renowned call service, along load of other surpises exclusive to its Filipino users.

“We have come up with a campaign exclusive for the users in the Philippines for them to connect and be closer to their beloved friends and families,” said Greg Kim, head of LINE Philippines.

Line Premium Call allows users to make low-cost calls domestically and internationally to both landlines and mobile devices from insisde the LINE app. With over 490 million users worldwide, the globally renowned app help users in the Phiilippines reconnect with their families and friends through enhanced call waulity and better network conditions.

Line Philippines also launched partnerships with some of the country’s biggest names from various industries- including Jollibee, Bench and Family Mart. Aside from that, the company gives away coupons with 300 Line Premium Call credits to diners of 23 Munchpunch-affiliated restaurants in100 branches from August 14 to September 13. Credit coupons will also be given out to online shoppers at Lazada during the same period.

Meanwhile, latest features added in the LINE app include selfies stickers and hidden chat.
