SM North Skydome witnessed the most awaited online game championship in the country- Ragnarok World Championship (RWC) 2011 Philippine Leg Finals. Eight teams- Solid (Valhalla server champion), Renegades (New Chaos server champion), Valkyrie (Valkyrie server champion), Naked Babies (Defending RWC PH and Sakray server champion), Endless (Ultimate Wild Card), Bitzbox (Regionals South champion),Suspects (Regionals North champion) and Naked Nanaman (last year RPC season 2 winners) battled it out yesterday to represent the Philippines for this year’s RWC Championship in Seoul Korea.
All teams gave all their best in the competition showing their amazing skills and knowledge on online gaming. However, Naked Nanaman (sister team of last year’s Philippines team, Naked Babies) and Suspects (Coerce) were remained and fight the best-of –five on the final match. It was an intense and close battle as thousands of online gamers cheered on their bet team. In the end, Naked Nanaman won the championship.
The event was really a BLAST! The Skydome was so jam packed and there were still online gamers outside waiting to be accommodated inside the dome. Some of the lucky gamers went home with some cool goodies and exciting prizes.
