Filipinos will celebrate again one of the grandest Philippine’s festival, Sinulog Festival, which will be held on the third Sunday of January in Cebu City.
Sinulog Festival is held to commemorate the Filipinos’ acceptance of Christianity and to honor Senyor Sto. Niño. The event will feature street dancing, float parade, fluvial procession, beauty pageant, bazaars, concerts and a lot of fun activities.
During the parade, locals and tourists are shouting “Pit Señor! Señor Santo Niño in a a belief that they will be heard by the Santo Niño.
Aside from Sinulog Festival, other festivals in the country are also held in honor of Sto. Nino like Ati-atihan Festival and Dinagyang Festival.
