I must admit I love fast food fried chicken. It’s very crispy and juicy. Even my friends told me that I need to stop eating fried food bec. it’s unhealthy, still… I always order for it. What can I do it’s really delicious. Do you agree that?
I was invited by one of the bloggers to try the Stackers Burger Café’s Baked Fried Chicken in Eastwood City, Libis. From the name itself, “Baked Fried Chicken”, I don’t what it tastes like. As far I’m concern, cakes, cookies, macaroni are the food I know that needs to bake. And now chicken..how is that??????
Stackers’ Baked Fried Chicken, launched the county’s first–ever “Baked Fried Chicken” during the Franchise Asia Philippines 2012 Expo held recently in the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. This food innovation was from Bryan Tiu, founding owner of Teriyaki Boy before he sold 70% of the brand to the Pancake House Group in 2005. A prime restaurateur with several known food brands under his I-Foods, Inc., Tiu is at the helm of other homegrown brands like Tokyo Café, Peri-Peri Chicken and Kogi Bulgogi.
If you are ordering the Baked Fried Chicken, you can choose either rice of fries. Since I love rice and fries, I ordered both. hehe. The chicken really looks like the same chicken served in a regular fast food.
What the good thing about this fried chicken, it’s 80% less oil. It’s also lighter and healthier yet crispier and juicier than the regular fast food friend chicken. It’s not messy to eat because it’s really less oil.
