Globe Telecom, through its Bangon Pinoy program (#BangonPinoy), has put up a Libreng Tawag center at the Philippine Naval Base in Cebu as more evacuees from the typhoon ravaged provinces in Eastern Visayas flee their devastated hometowns.
Reports said that about 2,000 people are expected to arrive in Cebu today (Monday) via the Philippine Navy’s LC 550, thus, the need for immediate communication services.
With Globe Libreng Tawag, the typhoon victims are provided with the means of getting in touch with their friends and relatives not only in Cebu but also in other parts of the Philippines and abroad.
Earlier, two Libreng Tawag Centers were set up at Mactan International Airport in Cebu and at Villamor Airbase in Pasay City for arriving evacuees. Libreng Internet is also being offered by Globe at the Mactan Airbase. Read more about Globe Bangon Pinoy offers Libreng Tawag at Cebu Naval Base …
