Before my Anawangin Adventure on the next day, I decided to have new look. It’s been a long time when I visited a salon, and somehow it really shows on my dry and breezy hair. hehe. So, I headed to Maldita Studio for my haircut and haircolor. The salon is located at the ground floor of Rosemont Tower, Panay Avenue, Quezon City.
Some of the Filipino men say that going to salon is not meant for them and is only meant for female or feminine guys. There are barber shops that can cater for their hair. Yes that’s before! But we are now in the new generation. Most of the salons right now are for unisex. They are offering services not only for hair but also for your nails and skin care, which both guys and girls need for hygiene.
It’s good to know that Maldita Studio is one the salons that offers a lot of hair and nail services. It is is an exclusive L’Oreal Salon with professionally-trained staff to attend to all your beauty needs like haircut, hair color, hair treatments, manicure, pedicure and others. And you know what guys, this is the biggest salon that I visited so far. They have big and cozy reception area, VIP rooms for special guests, super clean restroom and washing area, among others. It’s very spacious and modern. I’m really impressed on the state of the art interior of the salon.
Mr. Lemuel, the senior stylist of the salon, worked on the style of hair. He’s definitely the best. I just told him what I want to be the look of my hair and guess what…he actually achieved the look I want to be, a simple but so stylish look of my hair. It’s also like a bit of “ombre look.” I saw the way he trimmed my hair and it’s different the way the barbers did in a barber shop. Mr Lemuel is very professional and well trained stylist.
For the hair color, he used Loreal color products. I’m sure most of the people who are doing hair coloring/dying are experiencing a bit pain on their scalp. Surprisingly, I don’t feel any pain when Lemeul applied the products on my hair. I don’t feel and stinging and itching on my head. Maybe I’m already immune on it hehe.
Since I’m a frequent traveller and always expose to the direct heat of the sun, Lemuel told me that in order to sustain the vibrant color of my hair, I need to use products that are especially made for hair with color. One of the reasons the color of our hair faded easily is because of the consumers’ shampoo or conditioner brand that we are using. So we need to check first the label of the products we are using.
Anyway, back to Maldita Studio. I’m so overwhelmed that way they treated me. The staffs are very friendly and so accommodating. To Lemuel, Robert, Nerissa, and others… Thanks guys! Y0u provided the excellent salon experience that I’m looking for. I really love my wonderful hair cut and hair color.
