Jomalig Island in Quezon province is one the unspoiled paradises in the Philippines. It features white sand, crystal clear waters, pine trees and friendly locals.

Jomalig Island is located in the north eastern most part of the province of Quezon which measures 5,665 hectares (14,000 acres). The jump off point to the island is in Real, which is around 4 hours away from Manila by bus or a private van. From the port, it will take 6 hours travel time going the island.

There’s available passenger vessel and boat in Ungos Port whicj leaves around 10 or 11 in the morning. The boat can accommodate 30-50 pax. Fare is around Php350-400.

In Jomalig Island, you will be amazed on its golden sand. The whole area is very clean. The island was surrounded with pine trees. The turquoise water is very pristine. It’s very refreshing when you dip into the water.

How to get to Jomalig Island

1 From Cubao, take LRT 2 and drop at Legarda Station
2. From a Legarda, take a 5 minute walk to reach the Bus Terminal (bound to Real Quezon)
3 From Real, you can either walk or ride a tricycle to Ungos Port
4 From Ungos port, take a passenger boat/ Cargo boat going to Jomalig Island
