Through this partnership, customers of Popeyes now have an easier way to pay for their favorite Louisiana-style fried chicken. Popeyes is known for its fried chicken, Chicken French Quarter sandwich, fluffy pancakes, and biscuits to name a few.

“Providing convenience to our users has always been our thrust at GCash. The Scan-to-pay option not only eliminates the hassle of bringing cash but also allows users to have a safer payment experience when they dine in and order their favorites at Popeyes,” said GCash president and CEO Martha Sazon.

To use the scan-to-pay feature of the GCash App, customers only need to download or update the GCash App on their iPhone or Android smartphone and register for an account. When paying for your orders at Popeyes, simply click the “QR” icon on the GCash dashboard and point your phone’s camera at the restaurant’s QR code.

“Our love for life and passion to bring new and bold flavors to our exciting Filipino market are at the forefront of Popeyes culture. We always think of ways to make our customers’ dining experience exciting and convenient. That’s why we are very excited over this partnership with GCash to allow our customers to enjoy their Popeyes favorites with just a few taps on their phones,” said Francis Reyes, Group CFO of Kuya J group.

By making QR payment options and other digital financial solutions available to more and more Filipinos, GCash continues to pave the way for a cashless society which means faster, more convenient, and more secure transactions for both its partners and customers.
