It was a night of pure of art, music and fashion on the launch of the latest Lee’s campaign, Stay Curious and the exclusive preview of two of its newest innovative product lines for Holiday 2013 – Lee® Stretch Deluxe and Lee® Blue Label .
The fashionable event was held in the newly-opened Lee concept store in Glorietta 2 on Tuesday, July 22. It was attended by members of the press, bloggers, friends from LEE, among others.
The event also introduced five highly accomplished individuals, multi-hyphenates who best exemplify how curiosity leads to success – not just in one but in two or more fields, namely sculptor and fashion designer Leeroy New, college student/blogger/model/entrepreneur Lexi Gancayco, photographer/denim collector/vintage biker/foodie Kai Huang, model/DJ Christina Badkiss and singer/songwriter/The Voice judge and coach Bamboo Mañalac.
There were also yoga enthusiasts graced the event to showcase their skills in yoga, wearing the Lee® Stretch Deluxe. I’m really surprised why these girls were wearing jeans while doing the yoga. And also, just to let you know guys that 2013 marks the 100th Year anniversary of the invention of the iconic Union-Alls, one-piece coveralls. In 1913, inspired by seeing a chauffeur fixing a car, Lee® founder H.D. Lee developed an overall that will protect the wearer both below and above the waist. A jacket and dungarees were stitched together to from full jacket coveralls.
