Aliwan Fiesta 2013 will celebrate another year of colorful cultural event with nineteen festivals from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao on April 13, 2013 at the Star City Complex/ Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) Complex in Pasay City.
The annual event will showcase different cultural festivals of the Philippines. Everyone can expect Cultural Street Dance Competition, Float Parade, and Reyna ng Aliwan (Queen of Aliwan) beauty pageant. Grand Champion will get 1,000,000 pesos.
Dinagyang Festival of Iloilo City has won the most number of wins in the Cultural Street Dance category. It’s also the first festival received Aliwan Hall of Fame for winning five times (2004, 2005, 2010, 2011, and 2012)
