Parade of flower-covered floats is the much- awaited activity on the Panagbenga (Flower) Festival in Baguio City.
The month long annual festival in the summer capital of the Philippines is held during the month of February. The festival’s theme is ‘Community Convergence for a Sustainable Tourism Growth’ and will officially opens on Februay 1, 2012 at the Panagbenga Park along Military Cut-off Loop. The main highlight of the event is the Grand Float parade with marching bands and dancers in flower-inspired costumes. There will be also concerts, dog shows, ramp modeling competitions, mix martial arts competition and among others.
