SOLAIRE, an elegant and luxury hotel-resort in the Philippines, recently opened a spacious and opulent leisure complex encompassing new facilities for living in, gaming, dining and entertainment, the Sky Tower.
The Sky Tower is the newest offering of Bloomberry Resorts Corporation & Solaire Resort which boasts of a 312 all-suite hotel, additional VIP gaming areas, an exclusive Chinese restaurant and whisky bar for VIP gamers, state-of-the-art meeting rooms, and a lyric theater.
The hotel invited members of the press and bloggers for an exciting tour around the Sky Tower. At the entrance, we’re welcomed with a sophisticated restobar called Waterside. It offers Latin American and Mediterranean delicacies, which are very delightful to my taste buds. The ambience of the resto is very enticing and relaxing, providing an excellent view of Manila Bay. I really love the taste of their paella. They served it on a small pot and it’s very cute. Deserts are also good. Waterside Restobar also offers wide range of tapas alongside classic cocktails and spirits and an extensive selection of wines from the restaurant’s own wine cellar.
After they filled our stomach with their sumptuous food, the guide walked us to Oasis Garden Café. There’s a pianist inside the garden that plays smooth and relaxing music. The place is excellent for meet-ups with your friends or colleuges for a leisurely breakfast, a quick business lunch or cocktails. One of the attractions of the garden is the overlooking waterfalls.
The 17-storey five-star hotel features opulent suites that range from 124 square meters to as large as 936 square meters. We visited one of the rooms and we’resuprise how elegant it is. The design of exterior and interior of each room have luxurious touch. The rooms are big which feature comfortable bedroom, spacious living room and classy restroom.
We also visited House of Zhou which offers Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese cuisines. Just a few steps is the The Macallan Whisky Bar where VIP gamer can relax and chat with their friends and other gamers while drinking alcoholic beverages.
If you’re looking for meeting facility, Sky Tower has 2,000 square meeting facility includes eight meeting rooms, two boardrooms and a column-free grand ballroom and a flexible pre-function area.The ballroom has a capacity of 1,000 for table seating or 1,300 for a reception or conference. It can be divided into five rooms for more intimate events. All rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art presentation equipment and are provided with full banquet and catering facilities.
One of the main attraction in the hotel is The Theatre. The 1,760-seat lyric theatre is the venue for theatre plays and musicals, dance performances, concerts, and amplified music and speech events.
