The story is centered to remains of a 2-year old girl named Marikit. Her father, Paulino Mungcal discovered the body with no signs of decay. Paulino asks the church to declare her daughter a saint bec. it can heal and cure sick people. Is this miracle?

Directed by Emmanuel Quindo Palo, “Santa Nina” is one of the 10 finalists in the 2012 Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival, that is set to premiere on July 20 andt will run until July 29, 2012 at the Cultural Center of the Philippines, Greenbelt 3 and Trinoma.
