Another exciting night of Tunog Pinoy at the grounds of Avida Towers Centera last July 23 as Avida Land Corp presented the 2nd leg of Tunog Pinoy free OPM concert series and the launched of the second tower of Avida Towers Centera, Avida’s latest condominium offering in Mandaluyong City.
The concert was really a blast with the opening act of rock legend The Dawn singing the song “SALAMAT”. I’m so happy to hear that song again and everyone rocks while reminiscing the past.
The legendary Mitch Valdes impersonated some of the local artists like Sharon Cuneta, Pilita Corales, Vernie Vargas and others that gave a big smile to each of one.
One of the highlights of the show was undoubtedly the back-to-back performances of Kitchie Nadal and Barbie Almalbis, two of the greatest voices in the alternative pop-alternative rock scene.
Meanwhile, the singer –songwriter and actress Aiza Seguerra was also in the event singing “Pagdating ng Panahon” and “Di lang Ikaw” by Juris.
Pinoy Dream Academy (PDA) former scholar, Davey Langit was also there to do an acoustic act. Faith Cuneta also grace the stage with her amazing rendition of Ikaw lang ang Mamahalin while gold artist and composer Myrus serenade the audiences with his golden voice.
The night will not be completed as Tanya Markova, Kiss Jane and True Faith hit the stage with their rocking songs and energetic performances.
