The much–awaited return of the award winning actress Angel Locsin in television is set to happen on January 27 via ABS-CBN’s new show The Legal Wife, which also stars Maja Salvador, JC De Vera and Jericho Rosales.
The new drama series is centered to a scorned wife named Monica (Locsin) who tried to get back the good relationship from his husband Adrian (Rosales). Unfortunately, Adrian found a new love interest to a successful woman named Nicole (Salvador), which will become his devoted mistress. On the other hand, the betrayed wife is then seen finding comfort in her friend, Max (de Vera).
Meanwhile, Angel shared in the blogcon she accepted this project because the role is challenging and not common. She also added the show is not to create controversial but to give good lessons to everyone and to show the story in this series that is something happen in the reality.
On the other hand, Maja and JC stated they had some intimate kissing scenes on the pilot episode. JC shared also he’s so happy to work with these talented and award winning actors in the Kapamilya network. JC hopes he will be a good actor just like them. Maja shared also she admires Angel and JC for the effort they put into their work as an actors.
Joining the four lead stars in the cast of “The Legal Wife” are Christopher de Leon, Rio Locsin, Joem Bascon, Ahron Villena, and Mark Gil.
Directed by Rory Quintos and Dado Lumibao with head creative Henry King Quitain, “The Legal Wife” will be aired on January 27, 2014 via ABS-CBN primetime.
