Buildrite Construction Chemicals, a leading innovator in construction chemicals in the Philippines, has launched eight new innovative products at the Philippine World Building and Construction Exposition (WorldBEX) held at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City on March 16 – 19, 2023. The products were unveiled at the company’s Innovation Hub, which was the main attraction of their booth.
Founder and CEO Derrick A. Tan expressed his excitement in presenting their new products to the public and extended his gratitude to their customers for providing valuable feedback that helped them create such products. He emphasized that their customers’ feedback was crucial in creating these innovative solutions, which were based on their experiences, concerns, and requirements.
The new products launched by Buildrite include Level Up 410, a self-leveling compound for deep pours and smoothing and leveling large areas of concrete; Cure Sil EB and WB, an all-weather curing compound and concrete strength optimizer; StopGap NW and AF, paintable non-woven flashing tape and an aluminum flashing tape for easy, convenient, and long-lasting sealing; StopGap CJ, a self-leveling construction joint sealant for protecting joint edges from loads and preventing cracks; Sapal RTU and 2in1, weather-resistant exterior wall waterproofer and sealant/waterproofer with enhanced polyurethane for longer-lasting performance; Tofil 807 and 808, drywall finishing systems with anti-crack technology; Readyrete, the first and only ready-mix concrete in a bag for projects requiring 4000 to 6,000 psi of compressive strength; and SmartBond Flex, the first flexible tile adhesive that functions as a shear stress dampener to absorb and withstand tile and substrate movements and prevent tile debonding.
The launching ceremony was graced by the presence of Inventor Ronald P. Pagsanghan, National President of the Filipino Inventors Society, and Mr. William Chua, Vice President of Operations. The Filipino Inventors Society President acknowledged the high demand for innovative construction materials, particularly among young inventors. He praised Buildrite for driving innovation in the Philippine construction industry and invited CEO Derrick Tan to give a talk at one of their events to inspire young inventors, especially students, to create more innovations for the country’s betterment.
Buildrite has been an active exhibitor in various construction events over the years and has participated in international training, seminars, and expos to gain insights into advanced technologies in construction chemicals. The company has also been dubbed one of the best innovators in construction chemical technology in the Philippines since the launch of their Magtanong Para Sigurado campaign in 2018. CEO Tan emphasized that their mission is to help and teach people about the right construction chemical products and methodologies for specific requirements, with the ultimate goal of bringing the country to international standards.
