Captivating selfies of ten local stars were recently posted in the Vivo Philippines Instagram account(@vivophil), captured with the brand’s newest flagship phone, the V5 Plus, equipped with the world’s first 20-megapixel dual front camera and the most advanced selfie technology to date.
To join, netizens only have to follow @vivophil on Instagram and like their favorite V5 Plus entry, with every vote equivalent to a one peso donation to Habitat for Humanity, a non-profit housing organization tacking poverty by building and renovating homes for families in need (1 unique like = 1 peso). The celebrity with the highest number of votes wins the Perfect Selfie Cup.
And here’s another catch for selfie lovers: aside from donating to a good cause, your one like also givesyou a chance to win one of ten brand new Vivo V5 Plus smartphones.
As of February 13, 9:00 a.m., actress-singer Sue Ramirez leads the race with 7,756 votes. On her personal Instagram account (@sueannadoodles), Ramirez urged her followers to like her selfie. “Hooray, it’s the Vivo Perfect Selfie Cup! Just follow @vivophill and like my selfie in their account for a chance to WIN a Vivo V5Plus like mine! Plus, every like is a donation to charity. You are so amazing, Vivo! Let’s spread the love and likes.”
Next in the running, with 6,099 votes, is teen actress Andrea Brillantes, who called on her fans to help her win in her Instagram account (@andreabrillantes), “Go and follow @vivophil and like my selfie sa account nila at pwede ka na manalo ng Vivo V5 plus! Let’s do this Andrea Fanatics!”
Third, with 5,813 votes, is My Hair Lady lead Loisa Andalio, who marveled at the thought of being able to help with just a simple act of liking a photo. She said in her personal Instagram account(@iamloisaandalio), “Not only do you get a chance to win, we also get to donate to a charity with every like!Follow and like na.”
Actress and model Jane Oineza is currently fourth place, with 5,435 likes. Oineza, in her Instagram account(@janeoineza) expressed her excitement for the selfie cup. “Here’s something exciting from Vivo. Vivo Perfect Selfie Cup gives you a chance to win a Vivo V5 Plus. Super simple plus we get to donate to charity just by liking.”
Also a contender is young singer-actress Maris Racal with 5,419 likes. Racal, in her personal Instagram account (@mariesteller) enthused about the opportunity. “Yay for Vivo Perfect Selfie Cup! Your like is equal to a donation to charity. Glad to have this chance and it’s all thanks to Vivo. It’s time to share some likes and love!”
