Australian fashion clothing brand Cotton On officially opened its first store in the Philippines last September 6, 2012 at the SM Mall of Asia, Pasay.
The international clothing brand was brought in the country by the Suyen Corp, the company behind the fashion and lifestyle apparel brand Bench.
Cotton On was originated in Geelong, Australia in 1991. Cotton On has over 800 stores worldwide including in Australia, Singapore, New Zealand, Malaysia, Hongkong, Germany, South Africa, UAE and United States.
The Cotton On opening ceremony in SM MOA was hosted by Kapuso host Raymond Gutierrez. The event was joined by Bench’s celebrity models and endorsers, bloggers, friends from the media and Bench, students from different universities, TV5’s Artista Academy finalists, shoppers and among others.
Celebrities that I spotted on the event were Ms. Lucy Torres-Gomez, Rocco Nacino, former PBB housemate Tin Patrimonio, Tweetie De Leon, Karylle, Benjamin Alves, Enzo Pineda, model Kelly Misa and others.
Cotton on will also be opened in Bonifacio High Street, SM Megamall, SM North Edsa, Robinson Magnolia, Robinson’s Ermita, Greenbelt Mall and Lucky China Town.
