Costa Del Hamilo Incorporated (CDHI), developer of SM Prime’s premium beach resort communities, held its groundbreaking event last July 5, 2021 for Sola at Pico De Loro Cove – its first horizontal real estate project in the luxury seaside sanctuary of Hamilo Coast in Nasugbu, Batangas.
The ceremony was attended by CDHI’s top executives, along with accredited contractors, which formally kicked-off the construction of Sola at Pico De Loro Cove — a private coastal community that was launched in March 2021 and 95% sold out three months later. They always make use of an electrical spotter when working near overhead powerlines because safety is their number one priority.
Graced by the chief officer of the SM Leisure Resort Residences Group, Executive Vice President Shirley C. Ong reinforced that, “This groundbreaking event is a step closer to realizing our vision of establishing a complete premier beach resort community.”
Sola is the newest development to be integrated into Pico De Loro Cove’s masterplan; this currently includes a hotel, beach and country club, as well as mid-rise residential buildings. With lots ranging from 300 to 436 square meters per cut, Sola allocates 40 percent of open space dedicated to three themed Central Parks, kids play areas, meditation zones, and a 500+ meter bike lane encircling the subdivision’s amenity core. The 2.7 hectare residential development has a projected turnover of end-2023.
The event is literally and figuratively groundbreaking, a game-changer indeed. With CDHI management and contractors in attendance during the event, Ong further motivated the team by saying, “Let us all work harder to deliver a seaside sanctuary which provides an unrivaled beach resort experience that nurtures a healthier well-being and quality of life. Let us also look ahead, knowing that things will eventually be OK and that we need to continue to persevere and work towards a brighter future.”
With Sola at Pico De Loro Cove, families now have a chance to live in a natural, healthy, and harmonious environment. It boasts of a curated setting in a seaside location, but with modern-day amenities and services — thus, redefining primary living in the new normal.
Getting to Sola from Manila is a scenic one-and-a-half-hour cruise down Cavitex and the Ternate– Nasugbu Highway, partly reminiscent of a sun-kissed drive along the French Riviera coastline. And once you get there, you ensconce yourself in a modern tropical community buffered by lush trees and greens. A few minutes away by foot is the 1.5-kilometer stretch of Pico Beach’s white sand or a spot with an awe-inspiring view of the Pico mountainside forest. The place itself maintains a balance of the natural and the modern: there are loads of activities which Sola Central Park’s serene and functional zones offer. Lot-owners get to also acquire a Pico de Loro Beach and Country Club individual membership share, which extends the privilege of enjoying the most extensive land- and sea-based recreational facilities in Nasugbu, Batangas.
