MassKara Festival is one of the colorful festivals in the Philippines. It’s is held every 3rd week of October in Bacolod City, the capital of Negros Occidental province and known as the “City of Smiles.”
Highlights of Masskara Festival 2016 will be MassKara Queen beauty pageant, musical concerts, drum and bugle corps competitions, carnivals, food festivals, sports events, agriculture-trade fairs, garden shows, and other special events.
Along the street, you will find people wearing colorful masks. Participants on the competition are also wearing unique mask and beautiful costume while dancing to the beats of the drums.
