Landing Resorts Philippines Development Corporation (“Landing Philippines”), a wholly owned subsidiary of Landing International Development Limited, together with its subsidiaries, recently unveiled the Filipino-inspired iconic integrated leisure and entertainment resort at the Entertainment City in Paranaque City.
The Intergrated Resort will be named “NayonLanding”, which symbolizes the rich culture and heritage of the Philippines landing in the Entertainment City. This 610,000-square meter property will highlight Manila as modern global city. It will be a family-oriented resort that promises a distinctly different, must-see/must experience culture, leisure and entertainment destination. One of its best feature is the indoor cultural them park and waterpark, which will be Asia’s first and largest indoor movie- based theme park.
The groundbreaking ceremony was joined by members of the press, executives from Landing Philippines and Landing International including Dr. Yang Zhihui, Chairman and Executive Director of Landing International and Landing CEO Jay Lee. It was also joined by former Nayong Pilipino Foundation Chairperson Patricia Ocampo, Pagcor President Alfredo Lim and Chairman and CEO Domingo, Parañaque Rep. Eric Olivarez, and Parañaque Mayor Edwin Olivarez.
During the iconic groundbreaking event, Filipino talents performed on stage showcasing some of the well-know folk songs and dance. Asia’s Got Talent Season 1 winner, Philippines’ El Gamma Penumbra also joined the event and performed on stage with their amazing shadow play.
NayonLanding will not only showcase Filipino culture and heritage, it will also showcase Filipino talents. Approximately 95% of employees are locals, which will create up to 10,000 jobs and is expected to attract an additional 2 to 3 million foreign visitors to the country.
The Integrated Resort will be one of the country’s newest leisure and entertainment hotspot when it is opened by 2022.
