GCash recently launched it’s partnership with Glorietta. Customers can now shop in Glorietta using the GCash Scan To Pay QR code payments.
The event was joined by actor and host, Drew Arellano. He shared how GCash works and the benefits they will get from it. It was also joined by members of the press who first tried this wonderful service from Globe. Most of the participating merchant partners offered awesome deals and discounts on that day.
How GCASH Scan works?
During the GCash QR event, I purchased a paradigm bag. From P850, I got it for P600. I opened my GCash app on my smartphone. I clicked “Pay QR” on the dashboard, then clicked “Scan QR Code” to access the QR scanner. It scanned the code and put the amount to be paid as stated by the cashier. I confirmed the payment details and SMS sent to my phone to confirm the payment. It was quick, convenient, and glitch-free. There were no more counting of bills and coins.
With GCash, you can pay goods and services in Glorietta. You can use the app to shop in SSI Group, Bench Group, Bistro Group, Max’s Group, among others. You can also use this GCash App to buy cinema tickets at the Glorietta Cinemas, buy food at The Movie Snackbar and play games at the Timezone.
