Have you heard the song “Tulak ng Bibig”? Do you know the singer behind this beautiful OPM song?
It was a night of pure of fun and “kulitan” together with my blogger friends as we invaded the Chef Brewer in Ortigas to see the performances of Philippines’ Soul Child- Julianne.
Julianne is a multi- talented artist (click here). She has good vocals and a skilful guitarist. The first time I heard the song “Tulak ng Bibig”, I downloaded it immediately on my laptop. The way he sang her carrier single is very unique. Her voice is very relaxing.
The beautiful and talented singer was being influenced by Stevie Wonder, Paul Mccartney, Frank Sinatra, Corrine Bailey Rae, Alana Davis, John Mayer, Sting and Indie Arie.
What I like Julianne, she loves to experiment her music. With the use of her guitar, she can create a twist of any genres that she’s singing. She can sing jazz, folk, soul, pop and rnb on her own way.
Julianne is also a remarkable songwriter. At the age of 16, she created her first song. She was inspired by the artist Jewel. Is that sounds interesting?
With her passion and dedication in music, Julianne already garnered music awards like Best New Female Artist and Best Female Artist and OPM New Artist of the year in Awit Awards.
On that night, Gary Valenciano graced also the stage joining Julianne in serenading the audience.
Thank s Carl, Yanie, Ness and Vance..I really enjoyed that night..
