Pinoy Manila joined blogger friends to meet and interview the award winning actress Eugene Domingo for Octo Arts’ MMFF 2011 entry “My HouseHusband: Ikaw Na!” last November 30 at Kenny Rogers in Katipunan Quezon City.
“Just be Yourself” said Eugene. This is the key for her success in the entertainment industry why she’s so in-demand on TV and movie. Eugene gives her best on acting to all the projects she’s doing.
Eugene Domingo plays Aida on “My HouseHusband: Ikaw Na”. She’s the neighbor of Mia (Judy Ann Santos) and Rod (Ryan Agoncillo) and a mistress of a rich man. Since Rod is always trapped at home, he always talk with his bestfriend Aida and develops a friendship so strong that even working mom Mia gets jealous at one point.
“Yung last movie namin ni Ryan which is “Kutob”, di pa kami masayadong nakapag-bonding or nag-usap ng matagl. Friend ko si Juday kaya lagi kaming nagkakausap, nagkakamustahan. Pero si Ryan di pa kami close.Sa My Househusband, parang dito kami nagkaroon ng bonding moments at naging super close. Madami kaming eksena dito na kaming dalawa lang (smile). said Euegene. “Konti lang ung mga eksena namin dito ni Juday. Nabitin nga kaming dalawa eh …Yun na ba un!”, she added.
Talking with the multi-talented actress was a stress-relieving. Eugene is very fun to with. She’s very cool and swear..laugh trip to the max if you talk to her. Despite she’s one of the most popular actresses in the industry, she’s very down to earth. Her ideas, opinions and principle in life are incredibly great in all aspects. She has the brain, talent and unique beauty why everybody loves her.
Directed by award-winning director Jose Javier Reyes, “My HouseHusband: Ikaw Na” is must- see movie this December. It’s not just a movie, but, it gives important moral lessons for everyone especially to all pinoy housebands.
