The defending champions DLSU Lady Spikers defeated rival ADMU Lady Eagles on five-set battle in the UAAP Season 75 Women’s Volleyball Final Game 1, happened last Saturday, March 2 at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.
It was really an intense game as DLSU surrendered the first two sets to ADMU with the scores of 20-25 and 17-25. On the third and fourth sets, the team got again the energy to get the victory with the scores of 25-22 and 25-22. The Lady Spikers swept the Lady Eagles on the fifth set with the final scores of 15-6. With the win, DLSU is now up 1-0 in the best of three finals.
The game 1 top scorers was Michelle Gumabao of La Salle who got 15 points and Alyssa Valdez of Ateneo who got 10 points.
The De La Salle University Lady Spikers vs. Ateneo De Manila University Lady Eagles in the UAAP Season 75 Women’s Volleyball Finals Game 2 will be happening on Wednesday, March 6 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay City.
