Barako Bull Energy player Don Allado fined P500, 000 for the negative tweets against the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA).
Allado tweets that PBA games are fixed as the league controls what teams get in the championship.
Because of these errant tweets, it became viral and got a lot of positive and negative reactions that caused so much controversy and damage in PBA’s reputation.
The Php 500, ooo is divided into the following: Php 300 000 will goes to the association players’ educational funds while the remaining Php 200,000 will goes to the charitable institution of his choice. Aside from the fine, Allado also faces one-conference ban from the PBA.
