The increasing number of cybercrime cases in our country is brought by the rising number of internet users. To prevent these modern day criminals, PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group in partnership with Globe Telecom held the Angel Net Summit recently at Camp Crame, Quezon City, with the theme “Safeguarding Our Children From Internet Dangers”.

The forum was participated by selected companies in the country, including Globe broadband Tattoo, sharing knowledge and approaches to be used for research and prevention of cybercrime especially among children.
Angel Net is the Philippine National Polices’s (PNP) advocacy that ensures the protection of children against internet fraud, cyber stalking, cyber bullying and other internet related abuses. Led by Anti-Cybercrime Group Director Police Senior Superintendent Sosa, Angel Net has a 24/7 operation center and website that serves as a complaint center where people can report their cases.
