HOOQ and Globe LIVE recently debuted the Filipinos HOOQ Hangouts, the biggest outdoor cinema event in the Philippines held last Saturday, July 30 at the Globe Iconic Store in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
The Asia’s first and largest video-on-demand service opened to the public the premiere of HOOQ Hangouts featured the Hollywood TV hit, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow which will also be available exclusively on HOOQ.

This is the first of its kind for any video-on-demand service in the country. The event was joined by famous personalities, members of the press, online influencers, friends from Globe and HOOQ Philippines. It was also graced by HOOQ ambassadors, Jessy Mendiola and Xian Lim.
The BGC Amphitheate turns into a free outdoor cinema venue with massive LED screens, beanbags, blankets and cushions. The FREE movie comes along with FREE popcorn and refreshing drinks. Some of the participants of HOOQ Hangouts won some exciting goodies.
I had a great experience in HOOQ Hangouts. The Legends of Tomorrow was really an awesome tv series! The first part of the show already showed some intense action scenes which I enjoyed so much.
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow is an action-adventure television series, which is a spin-off from equally successful TV series Arrow and The Flash. The show centers to a team of heroes and villains who will prevent Savage from destroying the world.
Characters in the show include Victor Garber as Professor Martin Stein / Firestorm, Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer / Atom, Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter, Caity Lotz as Sara Lance / White Canary, Franz Drameh as Jefferson Jackson / Firestorm, Ciara Renée as Chay-Ara / Hawkgirl, Falk Hentschel as Khufu/ Hawkman, Amy Pemberton as Gideon, Wentworth Miller as Leonard Snart / Captain Cold,Matt Letscher as Eobard Thawne / Reverse Flash, among others.
Also debuting this month is Lucifer, a fantasy police procedural comedy-drama series. The story revolves around Lord of Hell, Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis), who abandons his throne to retire in L.A. where he owns Lux, an upscale nightclub. The charming, charismatic and devilishly handsome, Lucifer is enjoying his retirement, indulging in wine, women and song until a former “client” is brutally murdered outside Lux. Lucifer becomes involved with the LAPD when he takes it upon himself to assist Detective Chloe Decker (Lauren German) in finding the one responsible so that he can “punish them”. Lucifer is now available exclusively on HOOQ.
