At the recent grand premiere of Erik Matti’s ‘Seklusyon,’ the SM Megamall Cinema 10 was filled with members of the press, movie goers and fans together with cast members and people behind of the movie. The celebrity-studded premiere was presented by HOOQ, Asia’s largest video-on-demand service, and co presenter of the 42nd Metro Manila Film Festival.

Most of the cast members were present like Ronnie Alonte, Lou Veloso, Rhed Bustamante, Phoebe Walker, Elora Espano, Dominique Roque, John Vic De Guzman and JR Versales. Director Erik Matti also graced the event.
Spotted celebrities in the cinema include Vice Ganda, Merryll Soriano, Sue Ramirez and Cristine Reyes.

‘Seklusyon‘ is the only horror themed film in this year’s MMFF. The story is centered to a young deacon (Alonte) who hides from the devil in a sacred sanctuary seven days before he is ordained as a priest. The film also revolves to a young girl with miraculous healing powers and a mysterious nun who acts as her guardian.
No wonder why Seklusyon got a lot of positive reviews since it made its international premiere at the Macau International Film Festival. It is a mind-boggling film. Every scene has deeper and interesting story. The acting of Rhed Bustamante (Anghela), Elora Espano (Erina) and Phoebe Walker (Sister Cecilia) stands out among the others. Kudos girls! I’m not satisfied on the performance of the four deacons. A little more improvement and for sure, they will become great actors. Overall, the story, cinematography and musical scoring are awesome! I really recommend Seklusyon. It’s a worth watching this Christmas.
