Mark Del Rosario of Cavite City was named Mister Philippines 2014 during the finals that was happened last January 18 at the Resort World Manila’s Newport Performing Arts Theater.
The finals was hosted by Filipina supermodel-comedienne Wilma Doesnt and Mister World 2012 first runner-up Andrew Wolfe.
The 29-year-old Caviteño bested 24 other candidates from all over the Philippines. He will represent the country at the Men Universe Model 2014 to be held in Dominican Republic.
Other candidates who received special awards are Mister Philippines 2014 representative from the Filipino Community in Australia, Onakee Dela Cruz who won the Mister 2Go Travels award, Jovinson Anog who bagged Best in Formal Wear award, and Rickson Logaspi who received Best in Swimwear award.
Joining the top winners in the Top 12 include Edward Matro of the Filipino Community Dubai; Ethan Smith of the Filipino Community New Zealand; Onakee Dela Cruz of the Filipino Community of Australia; Gio Cabanlit Jr. of Albay, Bicol Region; Jeff Marti Gabriel of Tanza, Cavite; Jerico Pintoy of Maguindanao and Mike Gerard Mendoza of Bulacan, who also received special award.
