2GO Travel, the domestic shipping passenger business unit of 2GO Group Inc. has launched the bar and cafe of The Hub at Kilometer Zero last Friday, January 17 at the Bulwagan ng Kagitingan, Rizal Park, Manila.

The launching event was attended by members of the media, online community, friends from 2GO Travel and among others.

The Hub at Rizal Park is a luxurious dining and relaxation lounge for 2GO Travel passengers. The bar and cafe has a list of sumptuous food and exciting drink on its menu. It offers freshly brewed Batangas coffee, complex-flavoured espresso blends, and the bar menu with hints of Philippine fresh fruits mixed to alcoholic and non-alcoholic bases.

The people behind of the bar and cafe namely Stephen Rey Tagud, Vice President of 2GO Travel , British Daniel Slakmon, and Chef JP Landingin were all present in this momentous event. Mr  Sulficio Tagud, CEO of 2GO also joined the event.

Tagud, Vice President/ Chief of 2GO Travel stated everyone will surely enjoy The Hub at Rizal Park because it is the first-ever passenger lounge in the country. This project has lounge, cafe, bar, restaurant and ticketing office.

On the other hand, Slakmon, who heads the Quality and Development Unit of 2GO Travel stated The Hub offers the best freshly brewed coffee. He also added everyone will definitely enjoy their novel cocktails while people watching at the park.

Meanwhile, American Hospitality Academy and College of St. Benilde JP Landingin made twists of your favourite Filipino cuisine. He said their special dish in The Hub is the Chicken Inasal sandwich. Chep JP also shared their desserts are delicious specially the mangosteen  mousse.
