The 2012 Miss World title winner was from China, Miss Wen Xia Yu. The pageant was held on August 18, 2012 at the Dongsheng Fitness Center Stadium in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, China.
Miss Wales Sophie Moulds crowned first runner up and Miss Australia Jessica Kahawaty got the 2nd runner up. There were 116 candidates from countries around the world compete for the title Miss World 2012.
