Protege recently revealed the T0p 20 aspirants who will compete in GMA’s original artista search. The artista aspirants are came from 15 cities around the country. They are the chosen one who has the star power and amazing talent.
During the weekly performance nights, the top 20 aspirants will showcase their star factor and talent to compete for the judges’ and the Filipinos’ votes.

Roderick Paulate‘s Mega Manila proteges are Vien Alen King, Elle Ramirez, Kelly D and Andres Vasquez.
Ricky Davao‘s Northern and Central Luzon proteges are Reese Tayag, Japs De Luna, Shelly Hipolito and Glenn Roy.
Gina Alajar ‘s Southern Luzon proteges are Arny Ross, Mykel Ong, Thea Tolentino and Jeric Gonzales,.
Jolina Magdangal‘s Visayas proteges are Mikoy Morales, Mitch Capili, Zandra Summer and Bryan Benedict.

The first Protege Gala night was hosted by Gala Presenter Dingdong Dantes and Journey Host Carla Abellana.The show was also joined by the four esteemed judges- entertainment guru/host Joey de Leon, well-respected talent manager/director Bert de Leon, multi-awarded drama actress Cherie Gil, and GMA Network Films President Atty. Annette Gozon-Abrogar.
