In the recent Dew tour VIP preview and media bootcamp, mountain dew pro skateboarders Thetis Beasley, Chris Colour and Remo Pearson together with other amateur Filipino skateboarders showcased their skills in skateboarding, happened at The Courtyard B Side Makati City.
Hosted by VJ Joyce Spring, the venue was filled with skateboards ramps where skateboarders showed an adrenaline-charged showdown. Some of them did some amazing tricks and exhibitions.
The face-off at Circuit Makati, called the Dew Tour AM Series, brings together the best Manila skaters plus the winners of three elimination events called Drew Tour Bootcamps that took place in Laguna, Cebu, and Davao. While Mountain Dew brought Dew Tour Am Series to the Philippines in 2015., this year’s marks the first time that Mountain Dew hosted Bootcamps for the skaters outside Metro Manila.
“We had a great time holding the Dew Tour AM Series here in Manila last year, and we wanted to give the same opportunity to more skateboarders in more cities around the country,” said PepsiCo Flavors Category Manager, Kay Paras.
“Mountain Dew is proud that it has become a part of the growing momentum of skateboarding in the Philippines,” she added.
In addition to a trip to the Dew Tour in USA, the winner of the Dew Tour AM Series will also win P75,000 in cash,. The second and third place winners will also receive cash prizes.
