NBA All-Stars are already in Manila to play against Smart Gilas and PBA players on July 23-24 at the Araneta Coliseum.
The NBA players who will play at the Ultmate NBA All-Star Weekend are Most Valuable Player and five-time champion Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers, Derrick Rose of the Chicago Bulls, DeAndre Jordan of the La Clippers, Tyreke Evans of the Sacramento Kings, James Harden of the Oklahoma City Thunder, and Derrick LeRon Williams of the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Meanwhile, The PBA players who will join the exhibition games are James Yap and Marc Pingris of BMeg, Mark Caguioa and JC Intal of Ginebra, Arwind Santos and Rabeh Al-Hussaini of Petron Blaze, Ryan Reyes, Larry Fonacier and Jason Castro of Talk N’ Text, Sonny Thoss and LA Tenorio of Alaska, Sol Mercado of Meralco, Gary David of Powerade, Gabe Norwood of Rain or Shine, and Danny Seigle of Air21 will lead by Talk N’ Text head coach Chot Reyes.
PBA cagers Kelly Williams, Jimmy Alapag, and Ranidel de Ocampo of Talk N’ Text, Asi Taulava of Meralco and Dondon Hontiveros of Air 21 will join the Smart Gilas National team.
