Do you still remember the news about a young girl in Iloilo capable of making fire? What if you have this ability to create and be able to hold fire in your hands? Will you consider it as a gift or a curse?
Speaking of fire, GMA has a new show with the story which is similar to a girl who can make fire. The title of the show is “Pyra Babaeng Apoy.” It stars by Thea Tolentino, the winner in last year’s artista search, “Protégé: The Battle for the Big Artista Break. Playing opposite her is GMA’s upcoming leading man Jeric Gonzales, another winner of Protege.
Last Tuesday, I attended a blogcon event together with other bloggers, happened in GMA Building. The event was joined by the cast members of “Pyra Babaeng Apoy” namely Thea Tolentino, Jeric Gonzales, Zandra Summer and Elle Ramirez.
Thea, Zandra and Elle looking gorgeous on-and-off camera. They’re very kind and friendly. In fact, they went to our tables and gave shake hands to everyone. Their smile were so lovable.
Thea shared to everyone she’s so happy to be the lead star of “Pyra Babaeng Apoy.” She didn’t expect to get the role of Pyra. Thea also added she’s very thankful to Kapuso network for giving her a big project after her string of support roles in Anna KareNina, Love & Lies, and Teen Gen. I like this girl because she’s very humble and it really shows on her personality.
Jeric looking great in the blogcon. I must say he has really the appeal of a real artista and a good leading man . No wonder why there are lots of girls even guys love him. He’s really a good-looking guy. Jeric shared he’s considering to have his own album if he’s given a chance.
On the other hand, Zandra is now being compared with Ms. World Philippines Megan Young. Actually, somehow they look the same. Her face structure and body shape are almost the same with Megan. She mentioned way back from her home town, she’s already doing modeling and joining beauty contests. Zandra shared she’s looking for the right time if she will follow the foot steps of Megan.
Elle, who’s playing the “kontrabida” role was direct to the point of her answers. She shared to have a “kontrabida” role is really fine to her. Even she will tag as always kontrabida in different shows, she will still accept it because it’s still a project. If the people watch her as effective “kontrabida” she’s still love to continue this kind of role. During the blogcon, she showcased her beautiful voice while playing guitar.
During the answer and question about the show and the (4) four stars’ characters, it seemed they’re really comfortable to each other. Actually, Elle and Zandra were also came from Protege. No wonder why they’re so close together.
Program Manager Hazel Abonita was also in the event to help the cast to answer some our questions. She’s really a cool manager.
After the 4 stars answered our questions, the organizer of this intimate event prepared some games. We’re divided into 4 groups. Of course, Thea, Jeric, Zandra and Elle were also part of the game. I don’t know what the name of the first game. The mechanics, we need to shoot the rubber band using our mouth into the stick holding by Jeric. The 2nd game was we need to act like the stars in one of the scenes of the show.
At the end of the games, all the groups got some cool prizes.
The whole afternoon was so fun. Everyone enjoyed the games and the food. It’s so nice to talk with Thea, Jeric, Zandra and Elle. Thanks to them they made the blogcon so meaningful and memorable.
Going back to the show, joining them are Janno Gibbs, Roxanne Guinoo, Angelu de Leon, Gladys Reyes, Ryan Eigenmann, Christopher Roxas, Polo Ravales, among others.
“Pyra Babaeng Apoy” is under the direction of of Roderick Lindayag, the directore behind the top-rating programs Alakdana, Ikaw Lang ang Mamahalin, Hiram na Puso and Kakambal ni Eliana.
“Pyra Babaeng Apoy” airs Monday thru Friday, after “Maghihintay Pa Rin” on GMA afternoon Prime.
