Catholic cardinals elect Argentine Cardinal Bergoglio as the new pope

Argentine Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio, archbishop of Buenos Aires was chosen as the new pope and leader of billion Catholics around the world.
Thousands of faithful Catholics gathered in the Sistine Chapel in Vatican to witness the new pope of the Roman Catholic.
Jorge Mario Bergoglio, 76, is the 266th pontiff of the Roman Catholic Church. He is now be called as Pope Francis. Bergoglio is the first non-European pope in more than 1,200 years and first ever in Americas.
