2011 Cinemalaya’s Best Actress Eugene Domingo and Sm Box Office Queen Toni Gonzaga play in a comedy movie Wedding Tayo, Wedding Hindi. Under the Direction of Jose Javier Reyes, Wedding Tayo, Wedding Hindi is released by Star Cinema and OctoArts Film.
Eugene plays the character of Precy, a loving wife but later on she wants to go out marriage because of her problem with her husband (Wendel Ramos) who just lost their money to a swindler.
On the other hand, Toni plays the character of Belay, an excited OFW bride-to-be to Oca (Zanjoe Marudo). Belay is a simple, innocent and soft spoken girl at the beginning of the story who is transformed to a boisterous, flamboyant and skimpy Japayuki.
During the presscon, Eugene and Toni shared their stories in making this movie. There is no “sapawan” that happens and tells who really the star of the movie. Both of them shared their acting skills to each of one and they really enjoyed the company working together.
Also starring in the film are Zanjoe Marudo and Wendell Ramos.<
